Evelyn C. Kirk, age 84 of Daisytown, PA died Sunday, January 30, 2005 in the Washington Hospital, Washington, PA following a long illness.
She was born April 15, 1920 in Scenery Hill, PA a daughter of the late Joel and Gertrude McCarty Beall.
Mrs. Kirk was a member of the Scenery Hill United Methodist Church, Scenery Hill, PA.
She was a homemaker.
On July 8, 1939 she married Alfred Raymond Kirk, Sr., who died February 4, 1998.
Surviving is three sons - Alfred Kirk, Jr., of Washington, PA, Hayward Kirk and Perry Kirk both of Daisytown, PA; two daughters - Joyce Kirk and Wanda Kirk both of Daisytown, PA; a granddaughter Tammie Kirk of Daisytown and a sister Mildred Deems and her husband Howard of Bridgeville, PA and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband is a son - Clifford Kirk; four brothers - Robert, Norman, Kenneth and Willard Beall and three sisters - Violet and Catherine Beall and Lucille Murray.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main St., Beallsville, PA where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 with the Rev. Edward Hammett officiating. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery, Beallsville, PA.
